1. Agreement

By accessing or using RecruiterBrief (“the Service”) at recruiterbrief.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation (such as a school or academy trust), you agree on behalf of that organisation.

2. Description of service

RecruiterBrief provides AI-powered tools for recruitment professionals, schools and academy trusts — including candidate brief generation, CV matching, interview question generation and recruitment email drafting. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Submit content that is unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory or harmful.
• Use the Service to process personal data without a lawful basis under applicable data protection law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy or resell any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any personal data (such as candidate CVs) and that doing so complies with applicable data protection law.

5. AI-generated outputs

Outputs generated by the Service are produced by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional legal, HR or employment advice. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before relying on them in any recruitment decision. RecruiterBrief is a tool to assist — not replace — human judgement.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused periods unless required by law.

Current pricing is displayed on the website. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime.

8. Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Service — including the software, design, branding and AI models — belongs to RecruiterBrief or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the right to use the Service as described.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecruiterBrief is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
