• Account data — name and email address when you register.
• Usage data — which tools you use and when, to monitor usage limits and improve the service.
• Content you submit — CVs, application notes, interview notes or other text you paste into the platform to generate outputs. This content may include personal data about third parties (e.g. job applicants).
• Billing data — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and session data for security and analytics purposes.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the RecruiterBrief service.
• To enforce usage limits and manage your subscription.
• To improve and develop the platform.
• To communicate with you about your account or the service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the content you submit to train AI models.

4. Candidate data and your responsibilities

When you paste CVs or application notes into RecruiterBrief, you are submitting personal data about third parties (job applicants). You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis for processing this data — for example, that you are doing so as part of a legitimate recruitment process and in accordance with your organisation’s own data protection policies and the UK GDPR.

We process this content solely to generate the outputs you request and store it in your account dashboard. We do not share it with any third parties other than the AI providers we use to generate outputs.

5. Data sharing and third parties

We share data only with the following categories of third party:

• AI providers — content you submit is processed by AI APIs to generate outputs. These providers are subject to their own data processing agreements.
• Stripe— for payment processing. Subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — for running the platform securely.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data with any other third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Saved outputs are stored until you delete them or close your account. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing recruiterbrief12@gmail.com.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and regular security reviews. However, no internet service can be guaranteed 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.
